Kathryn Horner is a licensed REALTOR® with Pearson Smith Realty since December 2018, specializing in serving buyers and sellers in Northern Virginia. In addition to real estate, Kathryn has been an active community volunteer with Catholic Charities Diocese of Arlington since November 2017. Prior to these roles, Kathryn worked as a licensed real estate agent at Re/Max Preferred Properties, Inc., from March 2017 to December 2018. Kathryn's earlier career includes positions as a substitute teacher and choral music teacher at Loudoun County Public Schools, where experience spanned from 1998 to 2017. Kathryn holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education from Virginia Tech, earned between 1992 and 1996.

Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Arlington plays a critical and necessary role by serving our community’s most vulnerable residents, regardless of their background or religious affiliation. Our work is Christ-centered and client-centered. We fulfill immediate and long-term needs of the poor 365 days a year; providing warm meals, emergency financial assistance, counseling, housing and much more. We touched a life more than 94,000 times last year. Our 15 programs are uplifted by generous supporters, more than 2,500 volunteers, 69 parishes and more than 125 staff members. 88 cents of every dollar donated goes directly to programs serving the 21 counties in the Diocese of Arlington. We desire to make visible the love of Christ to the invisible poor, those living on the margins and those in desperate need of hope and healing.
