Perthrina Pegus

Perthrina Pegus has a diverse and extensive work experience. Since January 2022, they have been working as the Director of Operations Program Management at Catholic Charities Brooklyn and Queens. Prior to this role, Perthrina served as an Adjunct Professor/Field Advisor at Fordham University starting from September 2019. Perthrina'sresponsibilities included curriculum development, teaching, and preparing students for field placements in the social work profession.

From September 2017 to December 2021, Perthrina worked as the Program Director for Supportive Housing at POP Management, an affiliate of Catholic Charities Brooklyn and Queens. Before that, they held multiple roles at Catholic Charities Brooklyn and Queens, including Senior Clinical Director from January 2016 to September 2017, and Social Service Supervisor from July 2014 to January 2016.

Perthrina's experience also includes serving as a Program Manager at the Kings County District Attorneys' Office from September 2012 to May 2014, and as a Clinician at Bridge Back to Life from September 2011 to July 2013. Prior to these roles, they worked as a Senior Executive Manager at the Law Offices of Ambrose Wotorson from November 2001 to September 2012.

Perthrina Pegus completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Forensic Psychology at John Jay College of Criminal Justice in 2008. Perthrina then obtained a Masters of Social Work degree with a focus on Leadership and Macropractice from Fordham University in 2014. In 2016, they pursued a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree in Public Policy at John Jay College of Criminal Justice, which they completed in 2018.
