Scott Griffin

Scott Griffin is an experienced communications professional currently serving as the Director of Communications & Public Relations for Catholic Charities - Archdiocese of Hartford since December 2022. Prior to this role, Scott worked as a Public Relations & Marketing Specialist at Cooperative Educational Services from March 2017 to December 2022, managing comprehensive marketing and communication efforts. Scott has also contributed to academia as an Adjunct Professor at Naugatuck Valley Community College, where a passion for teaching communications has developed. Previous roles include freelance writing for Connecticut Magazine and a long tenure at Republican-American as Design Editor and Page One Editor. Scott has owned and operated a highly-rated restaurant, Griff's Chicken Shack, and holds a Master's in Journalism from Quinnipiac University and a Bachelor of Commerce in Journalism from the University of Tennessee at Martin.
