Cathy Stairs

Cathy Stairs has extensive experience in workforce development and client support, currently serving as a GEAR Specialist at Catholic Charities Maine since September 2022. Prior to this role, Cathy worked as a CareerCenter Consultant at the Maine State Department of Labor Career Center and as a Workforce Development Specialist at Community Concepts Maine, focusing on employment training and skill enhancement. Cathy's earlier positions include Employment and Training Specialist at Western Maine Community Action and Care Coordinator at Seniors Plus/EIM, where responsibilities included assisting clients with employment resources and managing home care services. Cathy's career began with an internship at the United Way of Androscoggin County and includes diverse roles at Central Maine Medical Center. Cathy holds a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Social and Behavioral Sciences from the University of Southern Maine.
