Lsw Kayla Gelman

Kayla Gelman, LSW, has extensive experience in grants management, education, and program coordination within nonprofit settings. Currently serving as a Grants and Communications Specialist at Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Newark since July 2015, Kayla also holds the title of New Jersey Educator with Girls Leadership. Previous roles include Program Manager at Playworks, where management of program coordinators and curriculum development was key, and Vice President of the Board of Directors at North Rampart Community Center, where strategic planning and securing grant funding were essential contributions. Kayla's background includes grants program assistance at Baptist Community Ministries and internships focused on community service and support for marginalized populations.
