Mary Ellen Butler

Mary Ellen Butler is a seasoned professional in development and donor relations, currently serving as the Senior Development Officer for Special Events and Donor Relations at Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston since November 2019. Prior to this role, Mary Ellen held the position of Director of Alumnae and Community Relations at Duchesne Academy of the Sacred Heart from October 2012 to November 2019. Earlier in their career, Mary Ellen worked as a Development Coordinator and Endowment Specialist at UT Health from February 2006 to April 2009. Educationally, Mary Ellen holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication from the University of St. Thomas in Texas and is an alumna of Duchesne Academy.
