Barbara A. is an experienced professional in community engagement and organizational leadership, currently serving as the Director of Community Engagement at Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of New York since November 2021. Previously, Barbara held the position of Executive Director at Family Support Network Inc from January 2015 to April 2022, where responsibilities included advocacy, policy formulation, and staff management. A background in job readiness and training was established at Goodwill Industries of Greater New York and Northern New Jersey, with roles as Vita Site Coordinator, Job Readiness Trainer, Job Developer, and Instructor from June 2008 to April 2022. Additional leadership experience includes serving as Assistant Director at Community Access, Parent Coordinator/Afterschool Director at the NYC Department of Education, and being an active board member of Bronx Community Board 1.
