Jodi Richard is currently the Director at Catholic Charities of St. Paul and Minneapolis. Prior to their current position, they served as the EVP, Regional Head of Operational Risk and Control for HSBC from June 2003 to April 2014. In this role, they led the Operational Risk Management function for North America region and managed the AMA program for US, which included capital modeling, CCAR, Internal and External Loss Data, Risk and Control Assessment, Scenario Analysis, operational risk appetite, and governance / oversight programs.

Jodi facilitated ERM integration throughout the bank by leadership and participation in cross-functional risk initiatives and Steering Committees. Jodi also served as chairman of North America Controls Risk Forum, integrating control risk functions for the region including Compliance, Internal Audit, Information Security Risk, SOX, BCP, Fraud, Vendor Risk Management, and AML.

In addition, Jodi oversaw Fiduciary Risk, the bank-wide policy governance framework, the product due diligence program, FRB risk-based incentive compensation program, and model governance policy.

Prior to their role at HSBC, Jodi served as the Chief Compliance Officer at Sears National Bank from June 1996 to September 1997. Before that, they were a National Bank Examiner at Office of the Comptroller of the Currency from September 1997 to June 2003.

Jodi Richard has a bachelor's degree in finance from the University of Northern Iowa.
