Karol Maurer

Karol Maurer has a diverse work experience that spans various industries and roles. Karol is currently the Director of Development and Community Outreach at Catholic Charities West Michigan, where they have been since October 2022. Prior to this role, they served as the Director of Development and Fundraising Manager, demonstrating their expertise in fundraising and event coordination. Karol also has experience in event coordination at the Grand Rapids Public Museum and Posh Petals Floral. Additionally, they have worked in the food and hospitality industry, serving as a Supervisor, Bartender, and Server at Brann's Steakhouse & Grille and as a Baker at Wealthy Street Bakery Inc. Throughout their career, they have consistently displayed excellent customer service skills and a strong work ethic.

Karol Maurer obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Ferris State University, which they attended from 2014 to 2017. Prior to that, they earned an Associate of Arts and Sciences (A.A.S.) degree in Restaurant, Culinary, and Catering Management/Manager from the Secchia Institute for Culinary Education, where they studied from 2013 to 2016. Karol also holds an Associate's Degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Grand Rapids Community College, which they completed between 2012 and 2016.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Karol Maurer has also obtained several certifications. Karol received the Alcohol ServSafe certification in January 2015 and acquired First Aid/CPR certification in June 2014. Karol obtained the ServSafe certification in January 2013.
