Ali Zeyen Thomas, PHR (She/Her) has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Ali is currently serving as the Senior Director of Human Resources at Catholic Charities, Diocese of Cleveland. Prior to this, they were the Human Resources Director at Cleveland Sight Center, where they managed the HR function and ensured compliance and strategic advancement of the department and the agency. Ali also worked as the HR/Talent Manager at White Hat Management, specializing in recruiting and retention for charter schools. Additionally, they held the role of Talent Manager, Recruiting and Retention at The Centers for Families and Children, where they handled employee relations, performance management, and recruitment. Ali has also worked at Case Western Reserve University and Wawa, Inc. in HR roles. Ali has experience in benefits administration, staffing, and recruitment. Overall, Ali has a strong background in HR and has contributed to the growth and success of the organizations they have worked with.
Ali Zeyen Thomas, PHR (She/Her) has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology from the University of Cincinnati. Their education history also includes completing the LeadDIVERSITY Program at The Diversity Center of Northeast Ohio from 2016 to 2017. Additionally, Ali Zeyen Thomas has obtained the Professional in Human Resources (PHR®) certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI in May 2003.
