Regional Director, Social Action & Catholic Campaign For Human Development at Catholic Charities, Diocese of Cleveland

Jason Lewis has a diverse work experience spanning a variety of roles in several organizations. Jason currently serves as the Regional Director of Social Action and the Catholic Campaign for Human Development at Catholic Charities, Diocese of Cleveland. In this position, they direct the Social Action Commission for Lake & Geauga counties, manages local and national grant applications and programs, and coordinates the annual CCHD collection. Prior to this role, Jason was the Director of Operations at the Society of St. Vincent de Paul Cleveland. Additionally, they have experience as an Assistant Organist at the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist and as the Director of Music at St. Ignatius of Antioch, St. Luke The Evangelist Catholic Church, and St. Mary of the Assumption Church. Jason has also worked as an Adjunct Instructor of Theology at Notre Dame College and as a Grief and Bereavement Specialist at Catholic Charities, Diocese of Cleveland. Jason has a background in pastoral care and bereavement, having served as the Coordinator of Pastoral Care and Bereavement at the Diocese of Cleveland.

Jason Lewis has a diverse education history. From 2000 to 2004, they attended Ursuline College, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Philosophy and Religious Studies. During this time, they also pursued a Lay Ecclesial Ministry Certificate at St. Mary Seminary and Graduate School of Theology from 2001 to 2006.

Later, from 2005 to 2007, Jason attended Ursuline College again, this time earning a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Ministry, Palliative Care, and Pastoral Counseling. Finally, from 2015 to 2020, they studied at John Carroll University, where they completed a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Clinical and Mental Health Counseling.
