Catholic Community Services Oregon - CCS

CCS is a non-profit, faith-based organization serving vulnerable children, youth, adults and families in the Mid-Willamette Valley & Central Oregon Coast. Our mission is to provide a Christian ministry caring for all in our community, built on faith, hope and kinship. Founded in 1938, today CCS offers 11 programs across ten Oregon counties and serves more than 5,000 people each year. As a faith-based social services organization, we operate with fidelity to the Principles of Catholic Social Teaching, which call us to work for the common good and to serve our neighbors who are the poorest and most vulnerable. We do so with appreciation for the diverse beliefs, cultures and life experiences of those we serve. Our values of love, justice, truth and freedom guide us to safeguard the dignity of all people, to embrace their giftedness, and to focus on their dreams and aspirations. To achieve our mission, all of our programs focus on four key outcomes: the people we serve enjoy safe, stable, nurturing relationships: they enjoy good health; they possess the knowledge, skills and virtues that they need to succeed at whatever is important to them in life; and they enjoy financial self-sufficiency. CCS is nationally accredited by the Council on Accreditation.
