Director of Development at CATHOLIC PARTNERSHIP SCHOOLS CAMDEN NJ INC

Prior to joining Catholic Partnership Schools in 2022, Clark Perks worked for seven years as the Development Director of the Battleship New Jersey Museum and Memorial in Camden. He oversaw all aspects of Development and Membership, including individual giving, major gifts, special events, foundation, government, and corporate giving. He secured $1.8 million in Federal, State, and County grants in 2022. In 2021 he brought in $1.3 million, exceeding the Museum’s goal by $100,000. From 2019 to 2022 he set fundraising records in the ship’s 20-year history, and revenue from Development and Membership steadily increased for six years in a row.

Before joining the Battleship, Clark worked for eight years as a Managing Director a non-profit consulting firm called Comprehensive Prospect Research. The firm serves hundreds of nonprofits worldwide, doing everything related to prospect research. Clark spent the first half of his career in journalism and advertising working for the Courier-Post. He was named Assistant Managing Editor in 2003. He switched from news to advertising sales and was named the newspaper’s Online Advertising Manager in 2006. Clark has a Master of Arts degree in English from Rutgers University in Camden. A lifelong Delaware Valley resident, he lives with his wife, Janet, in Medford, New Jersey. They have three children. In his spare time, he runs marathons and ultramarathons.
