Emily Wei

Emily Wei has extensive experience in policy development and analysis, primarily in roles related to hunger, food security, and social protection. Currently serving as Senior Director of Policy at Catholic Relief Services since October 2011, Emily has held several positions within the organization, including Director and Deputy Director for Policy Development. Prior experience includes working as a Mickey Leland International Hunger Fellow at the Congressional Hunger Center, with a field year at CARE Malawi and a policy year at Mercy Corps, alongside roles at Mercy Corps and Care USA as a Policy Analyst. Earlier experience includes serving as Deputy Director at the Ghana Health and Education Initiative and positions at Crowell & Moring LLP, the International Rescue Committee, and South Centre. Emily holds a BA in Anthropology from Harvard University and a Master's in Public Policy with a focus on International Policy from Duke University, as well as a law degree from Fordham University School of Law.
