Yidnekachew Tesfaye

Yidnekachew Tesfaye is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in financial management and compliance. Currently serving as the Deputy Finance Manager for Catholic Relief Services since April 2019, Yidnekachew oversees the compliance and capacity building of subrecipients, ensuring adherence to organizational policies and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. Previous roles include Acting Deputy Finance Manager and Senior Finance Officer at CRS, where responsibilities involved monitoring financial transactions and developing local financial systems. Yidnekachew also has experience as a Finance Officer at Education for Sustainable Development and as Finance and Administration Officer at the Ethiopian Red Cross Society.
