Susan Timoney serves as an Associate Professor of Practice and Associate Dean of Undergraduate Studies at The Catholic University of America since 2008, while also holding the position of Adjunct Assistant Professor in the School of Theology and Religious Studies. In their role at the Archdiocese of Washington, Timoney functions as the Secretary for Pastoral Ministry and Social Concerns, overseeing ten directors in various ministries and spearheading archdiocesan evangelization initiatives. Previously, Timoney held multiple roles within the Archdiocese, including Assistant Secretary and Executive Director of Evangelization and Family Life. In addition, Timoney is involved in academia as a Course Designer and Faculty member at Saint Joseph's College, where a graduate-level course in Spiritual Direction was developed and taught. Timoney possesses extensive theological education, holding degrees in Theology from the University of Saint Thomas Aquinas.
