Melissa Roth, LMSW, has extensive experience in social work and caregiving, with a focus on older adult programs and mental health services. Currently serving as an Activities Assistant for the Oaks Older Adult Program at Catholic Social Services of Washtenaw County since January 2014, Melissa organizes and develops educational activities aimed at enhancing cognitive abilities and promoting creativity among older adults. Prior to this role, Melissa worked as a Resident Life Assistant Manager at Glacier Hills Retirement Community, where responsibilities included developing a Memory Care Program and training a diverse staff. Other experiences include serving as a Mental Health Social Worker at Methodist Hospital of Chicago, facilitating patient discharges in psychiatric units, and providing in-home care as a Personal Care Giver for elderly clients. Melissa holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) from Loyola University Chicago and a Bachelor of Social Work from Eastern Michigan University.
