Greta Andrews-Gearring

Greta Andrews-Gearring has a diverse work experience spanning various organizations and roles. Greta began their career as a Nutrition Specialist at the Human Development Center in 2003. Greta then worked as a Clinical Associate at Ingalls Health System, providing clinical support services as a Certified Nursing Assistant. At the same organization, they also served as an Administrative Assistant/Concierge.

In 2011, Greta joined the Joint Commission as a Healthcare Quality Evaluation Intern, where they coordinated the development of standard operating policies and procedures and provided support to the Director of Operations on budget and research projects.

Greta's next role was as a Client Services Manager at Private Home Care Services, LLC, where they managed client services for the organization. Greta then moved on to become the Operations Manager at the Beloved Community Family Wellness Center, where they were responsible for overseeing operations.

At Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Chicago, Greta held multiple positions. Firstly, they served as a Hospital Transition Program Coach, helping individuals transition from hospital settings to their homes. Greta then became the Lead Home Care Supervisor, managing a team of Home Care Aides and overseeing service delivery. Their most recent role at the organization was as the Care Coordination Program Director, where they were responsible for overall program management and administration.

Throughout their career, Greta has gained experience in various areas such as program management, operations, healthcare quality evaluation, and clinical support.

Greta Andrews-Gearring completed their Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies from Chicago State University in 2008. Greta later pursued a Master's degree in Public Administration from Governors State University from 2010 to 2012.
