Colin Doherty is an experienced legal professional specializing in title insurance and real estate law. Since May 2023, Colin has served as Underwriting Counsel at CATIC Title Insurance Company, following a tenure as New Jersey and Pennsylvania Underwriting Counsel at Westcor Land Title Insurance Company from January 2019 to May 2023. Prior experience includes roles as Associate Claims Counsel at First American Title and Associate Counsel at The Silk Companies. Early in their career, Colin worked as a Petroleum Landman, conducting research and negotiating lease terms, and held internships at Chevron, Southeast Louisiana Legal Services, and the Ways and Means Committee. Colin holds a Juris Doctor degree from Louisiana State University Law Center and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Allegheny College, graduating cum laude.
