Younseo Ryu

Younseo Ryu is a Senior Backend Engineer at Catio since October 2025, with extensive experience in software engineering across various companies. At Skool, Ryu contributed to backend systems scaling from 5K to 10 million monthly active users, focusing on performance optimization, infrastructure improvements, and automated spam detection systems. Prior experience includes developing an ERC20 Token and a blockchain within the Polkadot ecosystem at Crown Sterling, new technology implementations at UC San Diego, and validation engineering for the Meridian CDC tool at Saline Co., Ltd. Ryu holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from UC San Diego.
