Neil Dowell

Neil Dowell has extensive experience in software development and analysis, currently serving as a Senior Programmer Analyst at The Cato Corporation since November 2000, where responsibilities include developing and enhancing systems in an Oracle environment for retail applications using tools such as Forms, Reports, and APEX. Prior to this role, Neil worked as a Consulting Services Manager at Quick Solutions, Inc from March 1999 to August 2000, managing consulting assignments and overseeing a team of consultants while maintaining significant billable hours. Before that, Neil was a Programmer Analyst at The Virkler Company from January 1994 to March 1999, where skills in business BASIC development were honed and transitioned into Oracle technologies. Neil holds a BS in Business Administration with a double major in Computer Information Systems and Marketing from Western Carolina University, completed between 1983 and 1987.
