Susan Stern

Susan Stern has extensive work experience in the retail industry. Susan is currently working as the Senior Director of Product Development at Cato Corporation since September 2022. Prior to this, they held the role of Director of Sourcing at Cato Corporation from July 2020 to August 2022.

Before joining Cato Corporation, Susan worked at Belk as a Global Sourcing Manager from October 2018 to March 2020. Susan also served as a Brand Manager for Kim Rogers at Belk from November 2017 to October 2018.

From 2008 to 2017, Susan worked at Chico's FAS, Inc. as the Director of Product Development. Prior to that, they worked at Target as a Product Manager from January 2006 to June 2008. At Target, they managed three owned brands with a total annual sales of four hundred million dollars.

Susan's career began at Fila Sport Inc as an Associate Product Manager from August 1993 to December 1997. Susan then worked at Cyrk Inc as a Product Manager from December 1997 to November 2001. From July 2001 to May 2003, they worked at The TJX Companies, Inc as a Product Manager, managing eight categories of product for Marmaxx group private label.

Susan's earliest role was at New Balance, where they worked as a Manager of Product Development from May 2003 to August 2005.

Susan Stern has a Bachelor of Science degree in Consumer Merchandising/Retailing Management from Syracuse University.
