Doron Gold

Doron Gold has a diverse range of work experience in the software development field. Doron is currently working at Cato Networks as a Software Development Team Lead, where they have been since February 2022. Prior to that, Doron was a Principal Engineer at Cato Networks from September 2021 to February 2022. Doron also has a significant tenure at VMware, starting in June 2013 and working as a Staff Engineer and Tech Lead until August 2021. Doron's responsibilities at VMware included building their SaaS platform and leading software infrastructure and developer productivity projects. Before joining VMware, they worked at IDI - Israel Direct Insurance as a Senior Java Developer and Tech Lead from December 2008 to May 2013, where they focused on designing fault-tolerant server clusters and building efficient software. Lastly, Doron's early experience includes working as a Java Developer at Trivnet from 2007 to 2008.

Doron Gold completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev in 2007. In 2018, they pursued additional education at the School of Data Science YDATA, although the specific degree and field of study are not specified. Between 2015 and 2018, they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from The Open University of Israel.
