Mauricio Astacio

Mauricio Astacio began their career in 1996 as a Business Sales representative at GTE Wireless. Mauricio later served as the Chair of the Neighborhoods Commission at the City of San Jose until 2012. From 2012 to 2018, Astacio held various roles at Barracuda Networks, including Sales Manager for Latin America and the Caribbean, Regional Sales Manager for Public Cloud Security, and Channel Partner Manager for Canada. Mauricio then joined Check Point Software Technologies, Ltd. as the Head of Cloud Security Sales for the Americas from 2018 to 2020. After that, Astacio worked at HashiCorp as the Senior Director of Global Cloud Alliances from 2020 to 2023. Currently, they are the Director of Global Strategic Alliances at Cato Networks, starting in 2024.

Mauricio Astacio attended the University of California, Berkeley and studied International and Area Studies from an unknown start year until 2006.
