Product Support Group Manager, Americas at Cato Networks

Miguel Angel Montañez Pinto has a strong background in IT infrastructure and support. Miguel Angel most recently worked as a Tier 1 Product Support Team Lead at Cato Networks starting in 2023. Prior to that, they served as an IT Director at TBWA\Colombia from 2018 to 2022, where they were responsible for designing and deploying cloud infrastructure solutions, managing the IT budget and support team.

From 2014 to 2018, Miguel worked at Big Holding, first as an IT Infrastructure Architect then as an IT Infrastructure Analyst. In these roles, they designed, deployed, and supported cloud and on-premises infrastructure solutions, led the IT support team, and worked with various technologies such as Linux, Windows Server, SQL Server, and MySQL.

Before that, Miguel worked at Carvajal Tecnología y Servicios from 2012 to 2014, initially as a Tier 1 Support Analyst and later as a Tier 2 Support Analyst. In these roles, they handled end user support requests, escalated infrastructure incidents and change requests, and performed maintenance and monitoring tasks for server and network infrastructure. Overall, Miguel has demonstrated expertise in IT infrastructure design, deployment, support, and team leadership.

Miguel Angel Montañez Pinto obtained an Associate Degree in Computer Networks from Universidad de San Buenaventura in the years 2012-2014. Miguel Angel also holds several certifications, including Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, ISO/IEC 27001 Implementer Certified, ITIL Intermediate in IT Service Offerings and Agreements, and ITIL Foundation.
