Bob Ring Pe

Bob Ring, PE has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Bob is currently serving as the Environmental Health Director at Cattaraugus County since March 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Public Works for the City of Olean, NY from September 2017 to March 2022. Additionally, they worked as a Senior Engineer and Engineer at Alta Planning + Design from August 2016 to September 2017 and July 2015 to August 2016, respectively. Bob also has experience as a Civil Engineer and Jr Civil Engineer for the City of Olean, NY from June 2008 to July 2015. Before that, they served as an Engineering Technician for E & M Engineers and Surveyors from February 2006 to June 2008. Bob'scareer started as an Engineering Aide at the City of Olean, NY from January 2001 to January 2006. Throughout their career, Bob has gained expertise in various aspects of engineering, including project management, surveying, drafting, design, and inspection.

Bob Ring, PE has a strong educational background in engineering. Bob obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of North Dakota, where they studied from 2009 to 2015. Prior to that, they attended Jamestown Community College from 2002 to 2004, where they earned an AAS in Mathematics with a focus on Math/Science. In 1998 and 1999, Bob studied Construction Engineering Technology at Alfred State College - SUNY College of Technology.

In addition to their education, Bob has obtained the Professional Engineer (PE) certification from the New York State Education Department in June 2017.
