Emma Mulqueeny Obe

Emma Mulqueeny OBE has an extensive work experience in various companies and government departments. Emma is currently working as the Head of Revenue Transformation at Causeway Technologies since 2023. Prior to this, they worked at SUSE from 2020 to 2023, first as the Chief of Staff to the Chief Customer Officer and then to the Chief Revenue Officer. At SUSE, they played a key role in the company's growth during the pandemic.

Before SUSE, Emma worked at the Department for Education in 2020, where they initially focused on policy development for digital classrooms but shifted to the implementation of digital education due to the COVID-19 pandemic. From 2018 to 2019, they worked at the NHS, where they helped create a strategic plan for digital transformation.

In 2017, Emma had positions at HM Courts & Tribunals Service, Telefónica, and Rewired State. At HMCTS, they served as the Programme Director for Digital Transformation. At Telefónica, they worked on strategy design and development. At Rewired State, they were the Founder CEO.

Emma also founded Young Rewired State, an organization that introduced kids to coding and problem-solving using open data. Emma served as the Founder CEO of Young Rewired State from 2009 to 2016.

Additionally, Emma worked at The Guardian as part of the strategy development and delivery team from 2010 to 2011. Emma was responsible for the open platform and digital first agenda.

Emma's work in digital transformation within the UK government started in 2000. Emma held the role of Vice President of Digital Transformation and worked with several government departments, including the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, The Cabinet Office, HMRC, and the Home Office.

Emma Mulqueeny OBE began their education in 1975 at St James's, where they completed their primary and secondary education. In 1989, they enrolled at the University of Surrey, where they pursued a degree in Biology and education from 1989 to 1991.
