Dhruv Patel

Dhruv Patel is an experienced Data Engineer currently leading the FinCrimes team at Cavallo Technologies Inc. since May 2023. Previously, Dhruv worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at Pattison Food Group, where contributions included developing a machine learning-based scheduling solution that significantly optimized operations and implementing robust machine learning pipelines. Dhruv also held roles as a Data Engineer, utilizing advanced technologies to automate scheduling processes, and served as a Teaching Assistant at Simon Fraser University for computing and networking courses. Earlier experience includes working as a Software Developer at IBM, where Dhruv automated supply-chain processes and enhanced cloud applications. Dhruv holds a Master’s degree in Professional Computer Science with a focus on Big Data from Simon Fraser University and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham.
