Saravanan Murugan

Saravanan Murugan has extensive experience in various leadership roles in data, analytics, and technology. Saravanan currently serves as the Group Head of Digital Technologies, Data, and Analytics at CavinKare since September 2022. Prior to this, Saravanan worked as the Global Head of Data, Analytics & Products at USEReady from March 2021 to August 2022.

Before their role at USEReady, Saravanan was the Global Head of Data, Analytics & B2B SaaS Products at Olam from September 2016 to March 2021. Saravanan also held the position of Head of Data and Analytics Practice at Polaris Consulting & Services Ltd from January 2015 to August 2016.

Saravanan's earlier experience includes being the Head of Product Engineering, Big Data, and Analytics COE at Tata Consultancy Services from July 2011 to December 2014. Prior to that, they served as Delivery Head at Cognizant Technology Solutions from October 2005 to June 2011. Saravanan started their career as a Technical Program Manager at Wipro Technologies from August 1999 to September 2005.

Before joining Wipro Technologies, Saravanan worked in various individual contributor roles across multiple companies from 1993 to 1999. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in driving data-driven strategies and leveraging technology to achieve business success.

Saravanan Murugan has a diverse education background in the field of data science, IT systems, and electrical & electronics engineering. Saravanan holds a Master's degree in Data Science from Liverpool John Moores University and a PG Diploma in Data Science from the International Institute of Information Technology Bangalore. Saravanan also received a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in IT & Systems from The Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India University. Saravanan obtained their Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from Alagappa Chettiar College of Engineering & Technology (ACCET).

In addition to their formal education, Saravanan has obtained various certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. Saravanan completed the "Advanced Analytics for Management" course from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad in 2017. Saravanan also holds the "TOGAF 9 Certified" certification from The Open Group, which was obtained in October 2012. Saravanan has an additional certification as a "Certified Data Scientist," although the institution where they obtained this certification is unspecified. Saravanan has also pursued courses in "Data Analytics" from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, and "Machine Learning" from Stanford University. Moreover, they hold the title of "Digital Luminary" from the Indian School of Business.
