Sashikant Mishra

Sashikant Mishra has had a diverse and extensive work experience in the technology industry. Sashikant started their career in 1988 at SWIFT, where they worked as a Senior Programmer Analyst. During their time there, they made significant enhancements to the SWIFT network system, which provides a reliable and secure network to major financial institutions worldwide. Sashikant also handled the development of various functionalities within the system.

In 1995, Mishra joined Convergys as a Senior Manager. Sashikant played a key role in the design, development, and production support for KPN Telecom's premium leased line management system, VVIS. This distributed application managed a billion-dollar leased line infrastructure and over a million network elements.

From 2003 to 2004, Mishra worked as a Senior Manager at Convergys IMG, where they contributed to design and development projects. In 2004, they joined Alcatel-Lucent as a General Manager of Engineering. Sashikant managed the design and test teams for network management products in the IP and wireless domains. Mishra was responsible for site and technical leadership, quality delivery commitments, and talent management.

In 2011, Mishra returned to Softtrends Software Pvt. Ltd. as a Director of Managed Services and Training. Sashikant developed proposals and customized solutions for mobile applications for small enterprise customers. Sashikant also took charge of project deliveries and overall engineering activities.

Mishra then joined Tech Mahindra in 2013 as the Practice Head for EMS/NMS. Sashikant held this role until 2015 when they moved to Softtrends Software Pvt Ltd as the Vice President of Technology Delivery. Mishra was responsible for overseeing technology delivery projects.

Mishra's latest work experience is as the Director of Engineering at Cavirin since 2016. Sashikant leads the Cavirin India Development Team and is responsible for product development from the Bengaluru location.

Sashikant Mishra pursued their education in the field of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. From 1978 to 1983, they attended the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), where they completed both their Bachelor's degree (B.E.) and Master's degree (M.E.). Their Bachelor's degree was in Electrical Engineering, while their Master's degree specialized in Computer Science.
