Carol Marie MacAlia

Carol Marie Macalia is an experienced professional in nutrition and research, currently serving as an Instructor at Cavite State University since September 2022. Prior to this role, Carol worked as a Research and Development Specialist at KLT Fruits, Inc. from February 2019 to September 2022, focusing on the development of new products for food companies. Carol's diverse experience includes positions as a Marketing Associate at GOLDEN HAVEN MEMORIAL PARK, INC., another Research and Development Specialist role at Innovative Packaging Industry Corporation, and as a Registered Nutritionist-Dietitian while self-employed. Additional significant roles include working as a Researcher for Save the Children Philippines and interning in community nutrition and dietetic services at Veterans Memorial Medical Center and the Community Health Development Program. Carol holds a Bachelor of Science in Community Nutrition from the University of the Philippines and is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration in Agricultural Business and Management at Cavite State University.
