Tyler Duvall

Tyler Duvall is the CEO and Co-Founder of Cavnue. Prior to this, they were a Principal at McKinsey & Company where they advised private and public sector enterprises across a range of operational, strategic and organizational challenges. Tyler also led the firm’s North American work serving infrastructure owners and operators, as well as technology companies in infrastructure. In addition, Tyler has advised private equity firms and other institutional investors on specific investment opportunities; worked to develop growth strategies for large economic development enterprises; and led large scale public sector transformation efforts.

Previously, Tyler served as the Under Secretary for Policy (Acting) at the U.S. Department of Transportation where they were the top policy official with responsibility for policy development and oversight across all modes of transportation. Prior to that, they were the Special Assistant to Asst. Secretary for Transportation Policy at the U.S. Department of Transportation.

Tyler began their career as a Corporate and Finance Associate at Hogan Lovells where they worked from October 1998 to February 2002.

Tyler has a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Harvard University.

Tyler Duvall has a J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law and a B.A. in Economics from Washington and Lee University. Tyler also has a degree in Economics from Colby College.
