David Watters

David Watters has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. David currently holds the position of SVP & GM, Industry and Ecosystem Development at Cavrnus, Inc. where they introduced an immersive collaboration solution. Prior to this, in 2018, they worked as an Advisor at BVA / Brown Venture Associates. In 2017, they took a sabbatical and pursued consulting work focusing on VR, Advanced Visualization, and Machine Learning. From 2014 to 2017, they served as the Sr. Director, Industry Solutions and Market Development at AMD. Before that, from 2012 to 2014, they held the role of VP, Marketing and Business Development at IGI - Advanced Visualization Systems. David's earlier experiences include working at NVIDIA, where they held various leadership positions from 2002 to 2012, playing a significant role in the growth of Professional Solutions. Prior to NVIDIA, they worked as a Business Development Manager and Sr. Systems Engineer at SGI, an Imaging Engineer at Cranel Imaging, and in Software Engineering at Battelle.

David Watters attended Stanford University Graduate School of Business from 2008 to 2009. During this time, they participated in the Executive Education: Leadership Excellence Program. Prior to that, from 1985 to 1992, they studied at The Ohio State University. David earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Sciences, majoring in Software Engineering, Computer Graphics Rendering, and Procedural Animation.
