Our home and Australian Certified Organic Distillery is open to the public and is located in the lush Sunshine Coast hinterland rainforest, right next door to Queensland's iconic and much loved Big Pineapple.

CAVU is an acronym for perfect weather - Ceiling and Visibility Unlimited. It also sums up our approach to life and producing our high-quality spirits and expressive brands... everything is possible. 

Matt Hobson and Michael Conrad co-founded CAVU in 2019 and production of our award winning ORIGINAL DRY GIN and ORIGINAL VODKA commenced in January 2020. NIL DESPERANDUM rum, aptly titled 'FIRST', was released on the 22/2/2022 at 2:22pm.
