Jim Travers

Jim Travers is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in safety, performance coaching, and leadership within the Oil and Energy industry. Currently serving as a Safety, Performance and Leadership Coach at CAVU International since December 2018, Jim also operates as a self-employed consultant. Prior to these roles, Jim worked at Check-6, Inc. from February 2013 to October 2018, focusing on human performance enhancement in high-stakes operational environments. Jim's military background includes significant leadership positions such as Officer in Charge at the Naval Research Laboratory Detachment and Executive Officer at Naval Base Kitsap, where oversight included complex operational management and personnel support across numerous naval assets. Jim holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Excelsior University.
