Alex Butler

Alex Butler has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. They began their career as a Teaching Assistant at The British School of Beijing, Shunyi, where they focused on providing English and Math support to children. After that, they worked as a Big Data Engineer at Kubrick Group, where they received specialized training in data science and software engineering. They then joined Nationwide Building Society as a Senior Data Engineer, taking on more responsibilities in data management. Next, Alex worked as a Data Engineer at comparethemarket.com, before becoming a Lead Data Engineer at CAVU, where they currently work.

Alex Butler completed a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Bath from 2021 to 2024. Prior to that, they earned a BSci with Honours in Biological and Biomedical Sciences from Lancaster University from 2013 to 2016.
