Dan Collins

Dan Collins currently serves as Senior Director of Strategy and Market Development at the Centre for Affordable Water and Sanitation Technology (CAWST) since November 2023, focusing on strategy, fundraising, partnerships, marketing, and communications. With extensive experience in strategic planning and business development, Collins has held various leadership roles, including Interim Senior Director of Business Development at CAWST, Senior Advisor at Intactix Systems Inc., and Interim Vice President at Litus Inc. Notably, Collins spent 17 years at Suncor Energy, where roles included Director of Corporate, Downstream Strategy and Technology Governance, and Director of Business Development. Prior experiences encompass directorial positions at Cambridge Energy Research Associates and KeySpan Energy Development Corporation. Collins holds an MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship from Boston College and a BA in Economics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
