Murray King

Murray King is an experienced agricultural professional with a focus on dairy management and board governance. Currently serving as a Trustee at Rural Leaders and holding directorships at Cawthron Institute and NZ Dairy Dessert Company (trading as Appleby Farms), King is also the Chairman of Callura Dairies LP and Waimea Irrigators Ltd. With a long-standing role as Managing Director at Kingsway Farms Ltd since 1996, King has overseen multiple dairy and support properties across South Island, New Zealand. Previously the Chairman of LIC, King combines extensive practical experience with advanced education, holding a Bachelor of Commerce from Lincoln University and pursuing high-performance governance training at IMD and Stanford University, along with an Executive Development Program for Primary Producers with Rabobank.
