Nicholas B.

Nicholas B. has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Nicholas started their career as a Senior Consultant from 1996 to 2006 before joining Viasat Inc. as a Staff Software Engineer from 2007 to 2009. Nicholas then moved on to Northrop Grumman, where they worked as a Software Systems Engineer IV, leading teams in building embedded signal intelligence payloads for the US military from 2009 to 2013. Following that, Nicholas joined F5 as a Senior Strategy Consultant, where they collaborated with customer sales teams and provided guidance on product customization and security strategies from 2015 to 2019. After this, they joined Proofpoint as a Business Development Solutions Architect, leading business development teams and designing prototypes in the email security space from 2019 to 2021. Most recently, Nicholas worked as a Strategic Consultant, providing cloud implementation evaluations and leading assessment processes for FedRAMP on AWS and Azure environments for various clients from 2021 to 2023. Nicholas is currently employed as a Principal Software Architect at Caylent.

Nicholas B. holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Santa Clara University. Nicholas also possesses a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Engineering from the same university. Prior to that, Nicholas earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from California State University-Sacramento. Additionally, they have obtained a certification as an Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in August 2021, and a certification as a Certified Scrum Master from Scrum Alliance.
