Emily Buretz has a diverse work experience in various roles and organizations. Emily recently joined CAZ Investments as the Vice President of Investment Strategies. Prior to that, they were a member of the Colorado Planned Giving Roundtable. Emily also worked as an Advisor at The Madison Group, Inc., where they provided wealth management services to affluent families and business owners. Emily was a member of the Rocky Mountain Estate Planning Council, which aimed to enhance estate planning proficiency among professionals. Emily has also worked at ACE Scholarships as a Development Associate and Communications Coordinator, where they managed fundraising campaigns and produced content across various channels. Emily served as a Public Relations Account Executive at FFEN - Foundation for Essential Needs, focusing on supporting underserved communities through grants. Additionally, Emily gained experience as a Communications Intern at the Global Livingston Institute.
Emily Buretz completed their Bachelor's Degree in Journalism at the University of Missouri-Columbia. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the Series 66 - Uniform Combined State Law Exam certification from FINRA in February 2021 and the CAIA Fundamentals of Alternative Investments Certificate from the CAIA Association in January 2021. Emily also obtained the Series 7 - General Securities Representative certification from FINRA in 2020, the Resident Producer - Accident & Health, Life certification from the State of Colorado in October 2019, and the Blackbaud Certified in Raiser's Edge (bCRE) certification from Blackbaud in October 2017.
