Chenyi Mao

Chenyi Mao started working at CareerBuilder in August 2019 as a Software Engineer II on the Data Science Application Development team. In this role, they wrote and worked on multiple Java/Python microservices using technologies such as Jersey/JAX-RS, FastAPI, Jenkins, Docker, and AWS. They were responsible for maintaining over 30 services that supported up to 40k requests per minute and used monitoring tools like NewRelic, Scalyr, and AWS Cloudwatch. The CI/CD stack at CareerBuilder utilized Jenkins, Docker, and Terraform. Before joining CareerBuilder, Chenyi Mao worked as a Research Assistant at Missouri University of Science and Technology starting in August 2017.

Chenyi Mao's education history begins in 2012 when they enrolled at Missouri University of Science and Technology. From 2012 to 2014, Chenyi pursued a Bachelor's Degree and a Certificate Program in the field of Geology & Geophysics. Following this, they continued their education at Missouri University of Science and Technology and obtained a Master of Science degree in Geology/Earth Science, General, which was earned between 2014 and 2017. Finally, Chenyi enrolled in another Master of Science program, this time in the field of Computer Science, at Missouri University of Science and Technology from 2017 to 2019.
