Kaitlyn Floyd

Kaitlyn Floyd's work experience includes:

- US Navy: Human Resources Assistant (starting in 2023, current role).

- CareerBuilder: Talent Acquisition Specialist (June 2021 to present). Responsible for sourcing new candidates, customer service, and posting jobs.

- Kitsap County: Office Support Assistant (November 2018 to June 2021). Assisted county commissioners with general clerical tasks and performed various administrative duties.

- Sound Business Insurance: Personal Lines Insurance Producer/CSR (September 2017 to November 2018). Handled client calls, emails, paperwork, and worked with insurance policies.

- Western Washington University: Public Safety Officer (October 2015 to November 2016). Worked with law enforcement to ensure campus safety, provided safety escorts, assisted with emergency situations, and enforced campus rules.

Kaitlyn Floyd completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology at Western Washington University from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Tacoma Community College from 2013 to 2015. Kaitlyn's high school education was completed at Gig Harbor High School, where they earned a General Studies Diploma from 2011 to 2015.

In addition to their formal education, Kaitlyn has acquired several certifications. In August 2019, they obtained the IS-00100.c Introduction to Incident Command System, ICS-100 certification from FEMA, as well as the IS-00700.b Introduction to the National Incident Management System certification. On July 2019, Kaitlyn received the Bloodborne Pathogens certification from Kitsap County. In April 2019, they obtained the Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED certification and the Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt (ICYB) certification, both from Kitsap County. Furthermore, in April 2018, they acquired the Insurance Producer License - Property and Casualty from the Washington State Office of the Insurance Commissioner.
