Maggie Padlewska is a seasoned media professional with extensive experience in journalism and multimedia production. As the founder of One Year One World since November 2010, Maggie leads an initiative aimed at raising awareness of issues faced by disadvantaged communities globally through independent multimedia efforts. In addition to this role, Maggie has worked as a Video Journalist and Producer at CBC since February 2010, and previously contributed to CTV News and CTV - Food & Fashion as a Freelance Reporter and Reporter/Segment Producer, respectively. Additional experience includes roles at ICAO, Amber Film Inc., WETV, and CPRN, demonstrating a diverse skill set in communications, production, and research. Maggie's educational background includes a Master’s degree in Journalism from Carleton University and a BA in Honours Political Science from Concordia University, alongside diplomas in Television Broadcasting and Korean Language/Culture.
