Michelle Carpenter is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in entertainment and content marketing. Currently serving as Sr. Communications Officer at CBC since June 2017, Michelle has successfully managed high-profile campaigns such as the Emmy-winning Schitt's Creek and has collaborated with stakeholders to develop strategic initiatives across various platforms. In addition to this role, Michelle serves on the Board of Directors for Big Brothers Big Sisters of North Durham, overseeing marketing and fundraising efforts, and previously held a leadership position on the Board of Directors for the Country Music Association Of Ontario. With a background in music programming at Corus Entertainment, Michelle has demonstrated expertise in managing multi-platform programming, artist relations, and live event planning.
