Katie Nicholson

Katie Nicholson is an experienced journalist currently serving as a Senior Reporter for CBC National News since September 2020. With a robust career at CBC dating back to 2002, Katie has held various roles including Senior Enterprise Reporter for The National and Investigative Reporter for CBC I Team, focusing on in-depth investigative reporting across multiple platforms. Previous positions include Reporter/Editor at CBC/Radio-Canada and Communications Director for the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Newfoundland and Labrador. Katie also served as Executive Director for the St. John's International Women's Film Festival. An alumnus of Memorial University with a BA (Hons) in English Language and Literature, Katie's work has encompassed breaking news, local news, and comprehensive investigative stories.
