Miguel Baz

Miguel Baz is an experienced legal professional currently serving as the Chief Legal and Ethics Officer at CBC/Radio-Canada since August 2021, where responsibilities also include the role of Vice-President, Legal Services, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary. Prior to this position, Miguel spent two decades at Bell, from August 2001 to August 2021, progressing through various roles including Assistant General Counsel for Mergers and Acquisitions, Assistant Corporate Secretary, and Director of Legal Operations. Earlier in his career, Miguel worked as a Corporate Lawyer at Hydro-Québec from June 1998 to August 2001. Miguel holds a Master of Laws (LLM) from The London School of Economics and Political Science obtained between 1995 and 1996, and a degree from Université Laval, completed in 1992.
