Dr. Amy Munoz, LAC, NCC is an experienced professional in the behavioral health field, currently serving as an Adjunct Professor at Maricopa Community Colleges, teaching Abnormal Psychology and Crisis Intervention. Since June 2008, Dr. Munoz has held various leadership roles at CODAC Health, Recovery & Wellness, Inc., including Chief Compliance Officer and Vice President for Utilization Management, where responsibilities encompass staff supervision, policy compliance, and crisis program oversight. In addition to adjunct positions at CBD College, covering topics such as Health Care Policy and Law, Dr. Munoz has served as a surveyor for CARF International, focusing on accreditation standards in rehabilitation services. With a rich background as a self-taught multi-instrumentalist and educator, Dr. Munoz holds a Doctorate in Behavioral Health from Arizona State University and is pursuing a Master of Laws in Administrative Law at the University of Arizona.
