Jenna Mele is a highly experienced occupational therapist and geriatric subject matter expert with a diverse background in healthcare education and consulting. Currently serving as a Geriatric Subject Matter Expert at AOTA since 2022, Jenna also works as a Thesis Advisor at Stanbridge University and as a Certified Consultant of Positive Approach to Care. With a wealth of experience that includes instructing at CBD College and providing occupational therapy in home health care settings, Jenna has demonstrated expertise in evaluating and treating clients while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. Previous roles include occupational therapy at Casa Colina and long-term skilled nursing facilities, as well as an adjunct faculty position at West Coast University, where Jenna taught graduate-level courses focused on older adults. Jenna holds a Clinical Doctorate and MA in Occupational Therapy from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor's degree in Integral Studies from Saint Mary's College of California.
