Nita Melessen

Nita Melessen is a seasoned professional in auditing and international relations, currently serving as a Senior Auditor at CBF since September 2021, after a tenure as an Auditor at KPMG where involvement included coordinating long-term projects within the Quality & Risk Management department. Prior experiences include an internship at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs focused on Africa, serving as a Liaison Officer for the Ghanaian Minister during the Global Conference on Cyber Space, and representing the Ministry in a civilian-military exercise. Nita has also participated in various initiatives aimed at development and peacebuilding, complemented by a strong educational background with a Master of Laws from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, a Master’s in Africa and International Development from The University of Edinburgh, and a Bachelor’s in Cultural Anthropology from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
