June Werner

June Werner has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. They began their career as a Linux System Administrator at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in May 2017. After that, they worked as a Computer Repair Technician for the university from May 2018 to September 2019. In September 2019, June Werner transitioned to the role of Peer Mentor until May 2020. They then joined Infosec as a Cyber Range Engineer in June 2020, where they worked until October 2021. Currently, June Werner is employed as a Web Application Pentester at Converge Technology Solutions Corp., starting in November 2021.

June Werner completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 2016 to 2020. Prior to that, they obtained a Language Department Diploma in Chinese Language and Literature from Beijing No.80 High School in 2015-2016.

Furthermore, June Werner has acquired several additional certifications. In December 2020, they obtained the Offensive Security Web Expert (OSWE) certification from Offensive Security, along with the CompTIA Network Vulnerability Assessment Professional – CNVP certification from CompTIA. Additionally, in 2020, they completed the Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) certification and obtained the CompTIA PenTest+ certification. In September 2019, they obtained the CompTIA Security+ certification from CompTIA.
